 Overdose occurs when you consume more than the prescribed dosage of a substance and hurt your health.

Risk factors 

Improper medication storage: Curious youngsters often put objects in their mouths, making poorly kept pharmaceuticals attractive targets.

Symptoms

– nausea and vomiting – drowsine – loss of consciousne – trouble breathing – difficulty walking

Treatment

– clearing the airway or inserting a breathing tube when there is a problem with breathing – giving activated charcoal, which acts in the digestive tract to absorb the drug

Preventing an overdose

Drug overdoses can be prevented in many ways. The best methods remove opportunities for accidental overdose or triggers for intentional overdose in the first place.

What to do if you overdose on Prozac 

– the person’s age, height, weight, and gender – the amount of Prozac taken – how long it’s been since the last dose was taken
